This photo was taken from my back porch, looking slightly westward. Both homes in the photo were later torn down due to structural damage.

This photo was taken looking slightly eastward. The home on the right has been torn down. Notice big sections missing from the first story. The storm surge washed completely over the island, leaving no roads. The tracks in the sand show how you had to travel. 4 wheel drive only!

This photo was taken beside my next door neighbors house. This was a corridor made by the storm surge. There used to be a large dune straight ahead. Notice the furniture lying everywhere. Many of homes directly on the Gulf were smashed apart.

This was also taken from my back porch, (looking toward the front). Notice the wash of sand and all of the debris, furniture, clothing, sections of homes, etc.
